"Yoga and Meditation. Is it for me?

Synopsis: The exact origin of yoga is unsure, but many date it back to at least 3000 years B.C. Yoga deals of course with physical postures, but also breathing (pranayama) and meditation. More and more western doctors are recommending yoga to their patients who have chronic physical problems, and the benefits can be appreciated both on a physical, mental and emotional level. Nowadays in the West there are a wide range of yoga styles that are taught each with a different emphasis and beauty. It can all appear a little odd to people who haven’t tried them before, however, when you do experience them very often the feeling is one of familiarity. Surprisingly for many people who try yoga for the first time flexibility or physical exertion is not always essential!
